Fabinho dos Santos started the match with the kick off. Saad Dar was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Athletico Paulistano's players had a chance to rest. Amauri Pires thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Alan Bittencourt, a very annoying self made goal in the 7th minute which led to 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Texugo Futebol Clube's zone, Zé Paulo de Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alan Bittencourt came out of the goal and Zé Paulo de Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the game, Vitinho Gonçalves threw the ball into play from the sideline. Club Athletico Paulistano's Agnaldo Mattos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Alan Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saad Dar in the 15th minute of play. Alan Bittencourt came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Athletico Paulistano's Saad Dar. But to his dismay, Saad Dar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Fabinho dos Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alan Bittencourt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Texugo Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Amauri Pires hit a great ball. With a little luck, Texugo Futebol Clube's Alan Bittencourt got control of the ball when Fabinho dos Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Club Athletico Paulistano were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Texugo Futebol Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saad Dar took the corner. The corner ended in Eliseu Mendes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Texugo Futebol Clube's Alan Bittencourt did a great save. Vitinho Gonçalves made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Athletico Paulistano's Agnaldo Mattos. Club Athletico Paulistano's Agnaldo Mattos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vitinho Gonçalves in the 35 minute of the game. Club Athletico Paulistano's Acácio Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şehzade Afgan in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Fabinho dos Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fabinho dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Acácio Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şehzade Afgan in the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Club Athletico Paulistano's goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Mazer came free, but Acácio Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amauri Pires hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Alan Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabinho dos Santos in the 59th minute of the match. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Athletico Paulistano's goalkeeper Acácio Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Texugo Futebol Clube's Tarcisio Sanches was substituted for Christiano Monteiro. Texugo Futebol Clube's Tostão Pontes was substituted for Durval Vasconcelos. Texugo Futebol Clube's Fiori Antunes was substituted for Şehzade Afgan. In the 71st minute of the match Texugo Futebol Clube got a corner. Club Athletico Paulistano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guilherme Mazer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Texugo Futebol Clube's Tarcisio Sanches getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Texugo Futebol Clube's Tarcisio Sanches in 71 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Acácio Lara guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 75th minute Zé Paulo de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agnaldo Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The supporters of Club Athletico Paulistano booed when Texugo Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fiori Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho dos Santos in the 88th minute of play forced Texugo Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Alan Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fiori Antunes made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Athletico Paulistano's Eliseu Mendes. Alan Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabinho dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Club Athletico Paulistano players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
