Fabinho dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Nicolas Cardozo made a huge save. After 18 played minutes Rondinone F.C - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Pitta. Saad Dar, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafinha Trancoso in the 20th minute of play forced Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalkeeper Nicolas Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Fabinho dos Santos took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Nicolas Cardozo to make any attempt to save it. When Saad Dar came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Club Athletico Paulistano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saad Dar couldn't finish the play. After 29 played minutes Rafinha Trancoso rounded Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Nicolas Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafinha Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Rafinha Trancoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas Cardozo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 37th minute, Falcão Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolas Cardozo made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Rafinha Trancoso sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the match, Club Athletico Paulistano's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel França came free, but Acácio Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
51 minutes into the game, Fabinho dos Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Nicolas Cardozo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 53rd match minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafinha Sergipano to maneuver through the defense. When Rafinha Sergipano fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's protests and gave Rafinha Sergipano a yellow card for diving instead. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Nicolas Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho dos Santos in the 56th minute of play. Nicolas Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saad Dar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho dos Santos came free, but Nicolas Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gil dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Club Athletico Paulistano's Fabinho dos Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolas Cardozo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Gil dos Santos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Haakon Brøndsel in the 75 minute of the game. Falcão Marques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Acácio Lara made a huge save. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Nicolas Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho dos Santos in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalkeeper Nicolas Cardozo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nicolas Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabinho dos Santos in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Fabinho dos Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Athletico Paulistano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Fabinho dos Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Cardozo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute of the match Club Athletico Paulistano got a corner. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Saad Dar ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Rafinha Trancoso managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Rafinha Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
