After a rather tough play, Barrenta SC's Valdemar Cabral got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Tastzian got free with Pierluigi Buffon in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute Jacob Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patric Isaksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 minutes, Jacob Albuquerque made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Barrenta SC's Patric Isaksson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gilmar da Rocha made in the 66th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Di Marinho however managed to control. In the 86th minute, Igor Lebas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Agustín Tastzian took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Pierluigi Buffon to make any attempt to save it. Benicio Hartz charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benicio Hartz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes KaoS Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Hartz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo do Valle in the 93rd minute of play forced KaoS Futbol Club's goalkeeper Pierluigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. KaoS Futbol Club were victorious despite being under pressure from Barrenta SC for much of the match.
