An unexpectedly hard shot by Vânderson Castro in the 6th minute of play forced Caatiba MZC's goalkeeper Ergo Muro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AKI CORINTHIANS's Orlando Nogueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save AKI CORINTHIANS from getting a goal against them. Orlando Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 22nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niceto Ihazintu in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orlando Nogueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Delfim Bertassi made a great header on Caatiba MZC's corner, it was just that AKI CORINTHIANS's Orlando Nogueira managed to reach the ball for a save. When Caatiba MZC's Niceto Ihazintu in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alfred Schrijns made in the 35th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ciro Brasil. In the 36th minute, Caatiba MZC's Natã Siqueira seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Natã Siqueira the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Caatiba MZC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Natã Siqueira had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Caatiba MZC! After some careless play in the Caatiba MZC defense, Juan Custódio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ergo Muro. The Caatiba MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ergo Muro should have stopped the shot. Caatiba MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Ihazintu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Nogueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niceto Ihazintu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Orlando Nogueira made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciro Brasil to make the kick off. When Rodriguinho Linhares came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Caatiba MZC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodriguinho Linhares couldn't finish the play. A collision led to AKI CORINTHIANS getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Albino Ibar hit a great ball. Orlando Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodriguinho Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Ciro Brasil who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Ergo Muro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Orlando Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Ihazintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 80 minutes in the game Ezequiel Nunes did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Niceto Ihazintu. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albino Ibar in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ergo Muro saved Caatiba MZC from getting behind. In the 92nd match minute, AKI CORINTHIANS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Caatiba MZC's Gaby Milito got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orlando Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Ihazintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Caatiba MZC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing AKI CORINTHIANS to leave the ground with a draw.
