With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ergo Muro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ergo Muro came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Ulisses Duarte. But to his dismay, Ulisses Duarte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Duarte Duarte was a little too slow when Niceto Ihazintu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-1. Niceto Ihazintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Duarte Duarte got control of the ball when Niceto Ihazintu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute, Radul Tishev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalkeeper Duarte Duarte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niceto Ihazintu. Caatiba MZC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gaby Milito took the corner. Niceto Ihazintu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

If Niceto Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Caatiba MZC were victorious despite being under pressure from CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land for much of the match.
