After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Prudencio Ubelteso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Utopía Muerta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Prudencio Ubelteso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Baiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mano Hume showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 10th minute Arkadiusz Piatek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Alfredão Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Inter Gala booed when Utopía Muerta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Martinez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Edgar Souto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Gala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Souto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Arkadiusz Piatek got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 24th minute, one of Inter Gala:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Inter Gala. Inter Gala:s Eduardo Baiano showed great skill when he stopped Fermin Martinez:s penalty. In the 29th minute, Arkadiusz Piatek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Utopía Muerta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 33 minutes into the match, Inter Gala's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Piatek came free, but Eduardo Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Arkadiusz Piatek notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Inter Gala's Eduardo Baiano. Eduardo Baiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Mendonça in the 37th minute of play forced Utopía Muerta FC's goalkeeper Mano Hume to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Utopía Muerta FC's Mano Hume played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Rodrigues in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Inter Gala's Heinz Stalder was substituted for Jaime Rodrigues. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arkadiusz Piatek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mano Hume made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Edgar Souto sent off a good shot on target. Eduardo Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkadiusz Piatek, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Armando Amarita replaced Anier Johans. Utopía Muerta FC made a substitution. Severo Bermudo replaced Arkadiusz Piatek. In the 76th minute, Severo Bermudo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Utopía Muerta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Inter Gala made a substitution. Donato Capixaba replaced Karl-Magnus Biörkquist. Eduardo Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Bermudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Braulio Hibai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduardo Baiano was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Utopía Muerta FC's Braulio Hibai managed to work through Inter Gala's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Braulio Hibai dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Hibai in the 87th minute of play forced Inter Gala's goalkeeper Eduardo Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes of play, Utopía Muerta FC's Braulio Hibai made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduardo Baiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eduardo Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Bermudo in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Utopía Muerta FC had won after a very even match.
