Ricardinho Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Feng Chao Wei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feng Chao Wei came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Jenipapo SC's Vinicio Junior. But to his dismay, Vinicio Junior quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that Saul Goodman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl Pilgren was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's goalkeeper Feng Chao Wei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aníbal Alagoano. A sloppy throw-in by Zé Carlos Monteiro in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Villa Verde FC's Erivaldo Borges. Villa Verde FC's Feng Chao Wei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Verde FC from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Villa Verde FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ricardinho Pena was slow to take the kick. During this time Jenipapo SC's players had a chance to rest. If Ricardinho Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 61 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos Monteiro. Villa Verde FC's Feng Chao Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Junior in the 65th minute of play. Alexsandro Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Villa Verde FC made a substitution. Belmiro Borges replaced Dida Viana. If Ricardinho Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jenipapo SC's Karl Pilgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Guilherme Cearense in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Dylan Browne hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Karl Pilgren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 94thth minute of the game Luís Guilherme Cearense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jenipapo SC's Karl Pilgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Jenipapo SC were the better team. Jenipapo SC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
