After 15 minutes, Jan Mlejnek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EoDu Uai Sôccer and the Grêmio RK75 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, EoDu Uai Sôccer's Jan Mlejnek got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 15th minute Harold Tronconi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José-Luis Chilavert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, EoDu Uai Sôccer's José-Luis Chilavert got control of the ball when Harold Tronconi tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Francisco Tinoco came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by EoDu Uai Sôccer's Demetrio Cannata. But to his dismay, Demetrio Cannata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to EoDu Uai Sôccer getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Reginaldo Meira hit a great ball. Jan Mlejnek made in the 29th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Juninho da Silveira. EoDu Uai Sôccer's Edmílson Severo got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harold Tronconi to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Markus Paul Hattermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José-Luis Chilavert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ertuğrul Ulutaş got a throw-in 54 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Reginaldo Meira. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind EoDu Uai Sôccer's goalkeeper José-Luis Chilavert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Harold Tronconi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A throw-in in the 64th minute of the game was made by Ertuğrul Ulutaş with Reginaldo Meira as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harold Tronconi in the 70th minute of play forced EoDu Uai Sôccer's goalkeeper José-Luis Chilavert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, EoDu Uai Sôccer's goal looked a bit too open when Harold Tronconi came free, but José-Luis Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Jardel Cabezon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Francisco Tinoco. Jardel Cabezon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After some careless play in the EoDu Uai Sôccer defense, Harold Tronconi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José-Luis Chilavert. The EoDu Uai Sôccer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José-Luis Chilavert should have stopped the shot. José-Luis Chilavert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harold Tronconi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th match minute, EoDu Uai Sôccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ertuğrul Ulutaş to maneuver through the defense. The Grêmio RK75 manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing EoDu Uai Sôccer to win.
