Vinícius Junior kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Rodolfo Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Péter Pálffy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vinícius Junior's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Fabiano Pombal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fabiano Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinícius Junior, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. With his leg Fabiano Pombal managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Capivara FC's Doriva Tavares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquim Xavier during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joaquim Xavier hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 55thth minute of the game Vinícius Junior who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Fabiano Pombal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Abelardo Koehler slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Péter Pálffy. That made the score 2-2 after 67 minutes of play. 76 minutes into the match, λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's goal looked a bit too open when Doriva Tavares came free, but Fabiano Pombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 minutes, Doriva Tavares made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Fabiano Pombal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Capivara FC made a substitution. Manoel Garrincha replaced João Francisco Mota. Fabiano Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doriva Tavares in the 84th minute of the match.
