Amadeo Rufo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diguinho Saraiva hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jérémy Doku during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Jérémy Doku got a free kick in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Relyn Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Durval Marinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Régis Mello. After 13 played minutes Nova Erechim - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Jérémy Doku. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ made a substitution. Marvin Granados replaced Diguinho Saraiva. After 14 played minutes Nova Erechim - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Jérémy Doku. Amadeo Rufo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipe Santos's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Durval Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edin Džeko, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 21st match minute, Relyn Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Faria to maneuver through the defense. In the 26thth minute of the game Felipe Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Amadeo Rufo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amadeo Rufo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipe Santos's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute Felipe Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Rufo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Relyn Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Felipe Santos hit a great ball. Oséias Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Régis Mello to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Nova Erechim - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Dário Goiano hit a great ball. In the 49th minute of the match Relyn Futebol Clube got a corner. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Romeo Cangeopol ran over to the corner to take the kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edin Džeko to strike the kick off in the second half. Durval Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edin Džeko, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Santos got free with Amadeo Rufo in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Relyn Futebol Clube's Oséias Correia managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marvin Granados in the 58 minute of the game. Felipe Santos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amadeo Rufo came out and tried to block the shot, but Felipe Santos slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 65th minute. Amadeo Rufo was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Felipe Santos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felipe Santos really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Relyn Futebol Clube's Oséias Correia quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marvin Granados, made in the 75th minute of the game. Felipe Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Relyn Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Qu Jun Fan hit a great ball. After 89 played minutes Nova Erechim - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Marvin Granados. Relyn Futebol Clube's Romeo Cangeopol couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 90th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nova Erechim - FSCMZ. Relyn Futebol Clube's Felipe Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felipe Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Amadeo Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Relyn Futebol Clube played a much better game than Nova Erechim - FSCMZ and deserved their victory. The Nova Erechim - FSCMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
