Celso Trevisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Válbson Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Santos in the 11th minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Celso Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Omid Kaulbach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durval Marinho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fedele Di Fabrizio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Felipe Santos notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan. Celso Trevisan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Relyn Futebol Clube's Durval Marinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Relyn Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Omid Kaulbach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Durval Marinho made a huge save. Celso Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Santos in the 39th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felipe Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Felipe Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Celso Trevisan made a huge save. Luiz Fabiano Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match Relyn Futebol Clube got a corner. Dr Lecter SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Romeo Cangeopol ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Raimundo Faria heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The supporters of Dr Lecter SC booed when Relyn Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Durval Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omid Kaulbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 86 played minutes Dr Lecter SC got a freekick which was hit by Dieguinho de Medeiros. With a little luck, Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan got control of the ball when Felipe Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
