No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Sydney Quirino got free with Nilson Peres in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Cearense in the 96th minute of play. Sebastião Henriques's late challenge caught a CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastião Henriques helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th match minute, ITAFUT 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Henriques to maneuver through the defense. ITAFUT 4EVER's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
