Pontus Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Ronaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Abi Schrape came free, but Pontus Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Konurbano Atletico's Teobaldo Demario got control of the ball when Gerardo Lordi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pontus Nordström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Ronaldo went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 47 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Remigiusz Bubczyk came free, but Pontus Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When Konurbano Atletico's Abi Schrape, in the 53rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Konurbano Atletico. In the 58th minute Gerardo Lordi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Demario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teobaldo Demario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Lordi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Konurbano Atletico supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Konurbano Atletico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
