Gus Wootton kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Bartolome in the 3rd minute of play forced Symba's goalkeeper Anis Achour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th match minute, Symba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mondher Ghodbane to maneuver through the defense. Anis Achour came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Mela Banco's Cheng Xiong Ang. But to his dismay, Cheng Xiong Ang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Froilan Bartolome's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anis Achour was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Sportivo Mela Banco's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Froilan Bartolome in the 18th minute. Froilan Bartolome recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anis Achour took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Sauveur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anis Achour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miromir Ciechocki, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Miromir Ciechocki got in the 30th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Anis Achour handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 31st match minute, Symba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garry Mann to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Symba's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Bottin came free, but Anis Achour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anis Achour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miromir Ciechocki in the 39th minute of the match. Loco Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khaled Chérif, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gus Wootton got free with Loco Gatti in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 44 played minutes Symba got a freekick which was hit by Muhammad Bejaoui. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Sauveur in the 45th minute of play forced Symba's goalkeeper Anis Achour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Khaled Chérif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Symba players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sportivo Mela Banco were winning 0-3.
Symba made a substitution. Sílvio Veiga replaced Khaled Chérif. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Sauveur to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Bartolome in the 55th minute of play forced Symba's goalkeeper Anis Achour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sportivo Mela Banco's Cheng Xiong Ang got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Froilan Bartolome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anis Achour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Bartolome, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Gus Wootton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Loco Gatti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loco Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gus Wootton, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After having played for 71 minutes, Bruno Sauveur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Mela Banco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Sauveur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sportivo Mela Banco made a substitution. Ahmet Rıfat Sehriyar replaced Bruno Sauveur. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sílvio Veiga in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Loco Gatti saved Sportivo Mela Banco from getting behind. Tomás San Juan hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Symba's Anis Achour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Rıfat Sehriyar in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Ahmet Rıfat Sehriyar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anis Achour. Ahmet Rıfat Sehriyar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. When Ahmet Rıfat Sehriyar came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Sportivo Mela Banco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Rıfat Sehriyar couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Sportivo Mela Banco could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Symba throughout the match.
