A collision led to Zgierskie Zlewy getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Seyhun Zati hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Russówek's Gregorio Montez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karol Ruszkowski. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. The throw-in from Marek Pliszka in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Zgierskie Zlewy's Rolf King. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Doicaru in the 15th minute of play forced Russówek's goalkeeper Daniel Kieca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zgierskie Zlewy's Karol Ruszkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Montez in the 17th minute of play. Robert Doicaru might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Kieca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Doicaru ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Robert Doicaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Kieca was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Robert Doicaru put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Daniel Kieca. Karol Ruszkowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kennet Hedlund went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Karol Ruszkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Quezada in the 36th minute of the match. Russówek were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Zgierskie Zlewy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Traczewski took the corner. Edward Traczewski hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Daniel Kieca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Doicaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. In the 47th minute, Salvador Quezada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Doicaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Robert Doicaru struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Daniel Kieca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zgierskie Zlewy. Russówek's Daniel Kieca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Russówek from getting a goal against them. Fran Tudor made in the 63rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Zdzislaw Moczkiewicz however managed to control. Zgierskie Zlewy's Aureliusz Kosakowski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kajetan Nalaskowski, made in the 65th minute of the game. Daniel Rives could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Daniel Kieca made a huge save. After having played for 72 minutes, Salvador Quezada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Russówek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Quezada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jakub Gdowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fran Tudor hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Zgierskie Zlewy made a substitution. Barnaba Bazylnikov replaced Robert Doicaru. Russówek's Ryszard Skonieczny was substituted for Salvador Quezada. A collision led to Zgierskie Zlewy getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Fran Tudor hit a great ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Russówek were victorious despite being under pressure from Zgierskie Zlewy for much of the match.
