In the 4th minute Otsoko Balmaceda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Basaik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ale Glowacz in the 7th minute of play forced Lech Max's goalkeeper Gwidon Dubilas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Basaik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otsoko Balmaceda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ale Glowacz in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gwidon Dubilas saved Lech Max from getting behind. After 12 minutes, Ale Glowacz made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Lech Max's Gwidon Dubilas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute, Ale Glowacz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 21st match minute, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niculae Ghionea to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Gacki came free, but Jan Basaik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ralph Dolby during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lech Max getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ralph Dolby hit a great ball. After 29 minutes KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jan Gacki who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Lech Max's Jan Gacki to fire away a dangerous shot which Jan Basaik despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kapaneus Panayiotopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Derman Cruchet got free with Gwidon Dubilas in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gwidon Dubilas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ale Glowacz, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Gwidon Dubilas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ale Glowacz in the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's goal looked a bit too open when Otsoko Balmaceda came free, but Jan Basaik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Jan Basaik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otsoko Balmaceda in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Gacki in the 45th minute of play forced KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's goalkeeper Jan Basaik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lech Max's goalkeeper Gwidon Dubilas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Lech Max's Gwidon Dubilas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derman Cruchet in the 53rd minute of play. Gwidon Dubilas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ale Glowacz in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Lech Max getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Nestor Rogel hit a great ball. In the 61stth minute of the game Ale Glowacz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lech Max's Gwidon Dubilas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Quilino in the 63rd minute of play forced Lech Max's goalkeeper Gwidon Dubilas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Basaik made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Jan Gacki sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute, Jan Gacki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Lech Max booed when KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Lech Max getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Krzysztof Bycofski hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Lech Max's Krzysztof Bycofski got a free kick in the 89th minute. There was no doubt that KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ were the better team. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
