Emilio Shepherd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isak Lundqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, KN ZGORZELEC's goal looked a bit too open when Isak Lundqvist came free, but Emilio Shepherd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gustaw Ptaszek fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Wessel Bos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Niculae Romanescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wessel Bos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilio Shepherd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isak Lundqvist in the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of CWKS KĘDZIERZYN booed when KN ZGORZELEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Felice didn't get a good kick on the ball. The KN ZGORZELEC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 79 minutes in the game Lukasz Haszczak did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Radomir Anszczak. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco van Basten in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emilio Shepherd saved KN ZGORZELEC from getting behind. 84 minutes into the game, Borys Karaszkiewicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Niculae Romanescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emilio Shepherd came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Marco van Basten. But to his dismay, Marco van Basten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
