The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerardo Liberona during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Zryw Samsonów booed when Gold Team Bełchatów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerardo Liberona didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Anselmo Morera came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Zryw Samsonów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Morera couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Radzyminski in the 5th minute of play forced Gold Team Bełchatów's goalkeeper Dariusz Kochanowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Zryw Samsonów's Ronnie Gregoire got control of the ball when Iraitz Mudarra tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Anselmo Morera put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dariusz Kochanowicz. Iraitz Mudarras short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Ronnie Gregoire to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ronnie Gregoire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iraitz Mudarra in the 16th minute of play. In the 16th play minute Iraitz Mudarra came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ronnie Gregoire. 1-1. In the 19th minute, Edoardo Liaci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roman Bartoszek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Kochanowicz having to interfere. After having played for 22 minutes, Roman Bartoszek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zryw Samsonów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Bartoszek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, one of Gold Team Bełchatów:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gold Team Bełchatów. Dariusz Kochanowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Bartoszek in the 29th minute of play. Ronnie Gregoire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franciszek Gregorczyk in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Radzyminski in the 35th minute of play forced Gold Team Bełchatów's goalkeeper Dariusz Kochanowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Franciszek Gregorczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Zryw Samsonów booed when Gold Team Bełchatów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iwo Rawa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronnie Gregoire made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Szczepan Serwacki sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmund Plech to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Gold Team Bełchatów's Franciszek Gregorczyk got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 51st minute Roman Bartoszek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Kochanowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65thth minute of the game Anselmo Morera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gold Team Bełchatów's Dariusz Kochanowicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Gold Team Bełchatów's Edmund Plech in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zryw Samsonów's goalie prevented a goal. After 81 played minutes Gold Team Bełchatów got a freekick which was hit by Szczepan Serwacki. Ronnie Gregoire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Plech in the 83rd minute of the match. The supporters of Zryw Samsonów booed when Gold Team Bełchatów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacy Duda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zryw Samsonów's Ronnie Gregoire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Plech in the 91st minute of play. The Zryw Samsonów players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
