After a defensive mix-up in Commander Crowe's zone, Lorenzo Rocendo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvard Fagerberg came out of the goal and Lorenzo Rocendo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Nicasio Gotzon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boguslaw Siwek was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Rocendo in the 26th minute of play forced Commander Crowe's goalkeeper Edvard Fagerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorenzo Rocendo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edvard Fagerberg having to make a save. Edvard Fagerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Rocendo in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Powiśle Warszawa's Benito Gaufred dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The supporters of Powiśle Warszawa booed when Commander Crowe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Håkan Västerstrand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Commander Crowe's Edvard Fagerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Rocendo in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicasio Gotzon during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Commander Crowe got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Gotzon. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Powiśle Warszawa's Miroslaw Drab was substituted for Fabiano Pietrini. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lorenzo Rocendo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Powiśle Warszawa getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Radomir Lato hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Bengt-Arne Håkansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boguslaw Siwek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boguslaw Siwek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umberto Nunes in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Umberto Nunes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boguslaw Siwek. Powiśle Warszawa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Umberto Nunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 61st minute, Umberto Nunes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Boguslaw Siwek. The goal made the score 1-2. Powiśle Warszawa's Jacob Jakubowski was substituted for Benito Gaufred. Powiśle Warszawa's Jerzy Hoffman was substituted for Lech Popowicz. Lorenzo Rocendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Edvard Fagerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lorenzo Rocendo in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvard Fagerberg saved Commander Crowe from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Gotzon in the 70th minute of play forced Powiśle Warszawa's goalkeeper Boguslaw Siwek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Commander Crowe's Umberto Nunes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Boguslaw Siwek. That made the score 1-3 after 75 minutes of play. Boguslaw Siwek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Arne Håkansson in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd match minute, Commander Crowe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Gotzon to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Umberto Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boguslaw Siwek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvard Fagerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Rocendo in the 91st minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Commander Crowe walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
