An unexpectedly hard shot by Ondino Asenjo in the 38th minute of play forced 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ter Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rigan Frankson made a kick off. Ter Stegen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umberto Nunes in the 51st minute of the match. Commander Crowe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1948 MKS the free kick. Nicasio Gotzon kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
