Cachila fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Hartz should have stopped the shot. In the 9th minute, Rodrigo Astudillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.A. Cachila fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şükrü Yazargil got free with Gustavo Hartz in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MACAU. F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Xiao Fenge in the 12th minute. Rodrigo Astudillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Gama having to interfere. Anselmo Gama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Astudillo in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Rodrigo Astudillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Gama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Gama stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Astudillo's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Anselmo Gama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Cordarrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Astudillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Anselmo Gama was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rodrigo Astudillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Gama. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodrigo Astudillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Anselmo Gama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Astudillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lourenço Vilanova hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Astudillo in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anselmo Gama prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led to A.A. Cachila's Jeff Albertson getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Anselmo Gama didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Astudillo went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Astudillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. MACAU. F.C's Albino Cugat was substituted for Şükrü Yazargil. 64 minutes into the match, MACAU. F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Astudillo came free, but Anselmo Gama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Rodrigo Astudillo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anselmo Gama. The goal made the score 1-4. A.A. F.C's Anselmo Gama proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save MACAU. F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute Traian Iorda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Hartz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Hartz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lourenço Vilanova in the 75th minute of the match. Gustavo Hartz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Iorda, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Rodrigo Astudillo struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Anselmo Gama didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.A. Cachila. A.A. Cachila were furious when Godfredo Tab was red carded, 87 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 89th minute, Daniel Correia made a precise shot to the right of Gustavo Hartz. A.A. Cachila's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Iorda in the 98th minute of play forced A.A. Cachila's goalkeeper Gustavo Hartz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MACAU. F.C were awarded a corner in the 100th minute after A.A. Cachila's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Xiao Fenge took the corner. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched A.A. Cachila eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
