When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Witomir Pisarczyk put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gilmar Quirino. In the 26th minute, Gerardo Lordi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilmar Quirino was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 29th minute, Santa Margarita's Witomir Pisarczyk dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. Bola Quadrada FC's Gilmar Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Lordi in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match Santa Margarita got a corner. Bola Quadrada FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eduardo De Francesco ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gerardo Lordi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilmar Quirino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Witomir Pisarczyk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilmar Quirino. Bola Quadrada FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Witomir Pisarczyk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. In the 45th minute, Santa Margarita's Gerardo Lordi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 9-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 9-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerardo Lordi was the one to do the kick off. The Santa Margarita fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Santa Margarita's Gerardo Lordi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 13-0 when Gerardo Lordi sped through Bola Quadrada FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gilmar Quirino. Gerardo Lordi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gilmar Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santa Margarita made a substitution. Mauro Icardi replaced Gerardo Lordi. Santa Margarita's Wendell Davids was substituted for Witomir Pisarczyk. In the 76th minute, Klaus Mohammadi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Margarita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 16-0. Mauro Icardi might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilmar Quirino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilmar Quirino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
