AntraX FDP.'s Kjell Trengereid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Hendrickx in the 11th minute of play. Ray Clemence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Cantillo in the 15th minute of the match. Kjell Trengereid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samai Asmawan, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, AntraX FDP.'s goal looked a bit too open when Samai Asmawan came free, but Kjell Trengereid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the match PHOENIX SC got a corner. AntraX FDP.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hanung Sephtianda ran over to the corner to take the kick. PHOENIX SC's Hanung Sephtianda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kjell Trengereid in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With an all-out effort, PHOENIX SC's Kjell Trengereid threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Frederico Hendrickx, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to PHOENIX SC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Erubiel Nabar hit a great ball. Kjell Trengereid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hanung Sephtianda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PHOENIX SC's Ray Clemence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Cantillo in the 34th minute of play. Basilio Viso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray Clemence having to interfere. After some careless play in the AntraX FDP. defense, Hanung Sephtianda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kjell Trengereid. The AntraX FDP. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kjell Trengereid should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frederico Hendrickx to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Alfonso Cantillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PHOENIX SC's Ray Clemence was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samai Asmawan in the 57th minute of play forced AntraX FDP.'s goalkeeper Kjell Trengereid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PHOENIX SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samai Asmawan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. PHOENIX SC's Frederico Hendrickx got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, AntraX FDP.'s Gonzalo Plata got a free kick in the 92nd minute. AntraX FDP.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
