With an all-out effort, Pinhote FC's David Abad threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Miguel Rodríguez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sílvio Luís Ceresso succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 15th playminute. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's David Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turgut Soyuer in the 21st minute of play forced Pinhote FC's goalkeeper Ni Guang Yong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 played minutes Pinhote FC got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Távora. 29 minutes into the game, Turgut Soyuer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ni Guang Yong was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 36 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Rodríguez came free, but David Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Lucjan Falkiewicz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pinhote FC's Bart Buckinx quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Turgut Soyuer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sílvio Luís Ceresso got free with David Abad in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Turgut Soyuer made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luís Ceresso came free, but David Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ni Guang Yong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tytus Orling in the 55th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Turgut Soyuer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ni Guang Yong was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Ni Guang Yong had great luck who in the 57thth minute grab hold of the ball when Turgut Soyuer from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 61st minute, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Timmy Galle ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ni Guang Yong. Ni Guang Yong yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 64 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luís Ceresso came free, but David Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66thth minute of the game Turgut Soyuer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pinhote FC's Ni Guang Yong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute Chinese CJ Youth Academy were awarded a corner. Wincent Jaroch went to the cornerflag to take it. Wincent Jaroch made a great header on Chinese CJ Youth Academy's corner, it was just that Pinhote FC's Ni Guang Yong managed to reach the ball for a save. David Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Rosen, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Miguel Rodríguez struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. David Abad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinhote FC. Turgut Soyuer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Ni Guang Yong made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Ni Guang Yong successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sebastião Andrade hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Turgut Soyuer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's David Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Rosen in the 83rd minute of play. Pinhote FC's Damião Maia was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but David Abad in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chinese CJ Youth Academy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
