In the 3rd minute Liboslav Krušina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zézinho Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Florin Susara managed to get in a good position for a shot. MarquinhosEC's supporters rose to their feet, but Florin Susara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Leiria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, SLB TELHA's Bernardo Leiria got control of the ball when Curt Montes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Inácio Freitas took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Leiria. Bernardo Leiria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. MarquinhosEC's Zézinho Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liboslav Krušina in the 31st minute of play. After 31 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Santos. Bernardo Leiria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Freitas in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Inácio Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Leiria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Inácio Freitas made a kick off. The referee ignored SLB TELHA's protests and gave Eusébio Candeias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, MarquinhosEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barrie Deacon to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valério Vilaça got free with Zézinho Simões in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zézinho Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liboslav Krušina in the 55th minute of play. Zézinho Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SLB TELHA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
