Jenipapo SC's Karl Pilgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Meirelles in the 8th minute of play. Aníbal Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Lamego having to interfere. Karl Pilgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alessandro Meirelles's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Meirelles in the 17th minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Karl Pilgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jenipapo SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
