If Joris De Raeve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Januário Rangel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brend Vanden Driessche in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute, Joris De Raeve ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Januário Rangel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Januário Rangel made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Joris De Raeve sent off a good shot on target. Sean Van Dijck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Jordão in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Fryderyk Gierlach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MEXACOMX were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Limburg United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Julio-César Romo-Leroux took the corner. MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save MEXACOMX from getting a goal against them. Sean Van Dijck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Jordão, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Maurício Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MEXACOMX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurício Meireles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute Joris De Raeve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Januário Rangel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Limburg United defense, Tomás Jordão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sean Van Dijck. The Limburg United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sean Van Dijck should have stopped the shot. Januário Rangel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Terwenhout in the 44th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomás Jordão to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomás Jordão hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomás Jordão got free with Sean Van Dijck in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomás Jordão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sean Van Dijck. That made the score 1-2 in the 58 minute of play. Giannis Kouretzis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sean Van Dijck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 63 minutes, Fredrik Terwenhout made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 65 played minutes Limburg United got a freekick which was hit by Pieter-Maarten Van Beets. Limburg United's Sean Van Dijck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Limburg United from getting a goal against them. Pieter-Maarten Van Beets kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. With a little luck, Limburg United's Sean Van Dijck got control of the ball when Tomás Jordão tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Limburg United's zone, Tomás Jordão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 78th minute of the match MEXACOMX got a corner. Limburg United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Julio-César Romo-Leroux ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Joaquin Sedillo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Limburg United's Sean Van Dijck did a great save. With a little luck, Limburg United's Sean Van Dijck got control of the ball when Tomás Jordão tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Pieter-Maarten Van Beets threw the ball into play from the sideline.
