The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Alperen Öksüz hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Xavier came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the New England Minas defense, Claudinei Xavier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremy Nicholas. The New England Minas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremy Nicholas should have stopped the shot. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Odeen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mila Gröhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alperen Öksüz, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquinhos Toscano in the 25th minute of play. Mila Gröhe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgardo Silva went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Çelikan Ergök received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jeremy Nicholas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alperen Öksüz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mila Gröhe came out and tried to block the shot, but Alperen Öksüz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 39th minute. Edgardo Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mila Gröhe having to interfere. After a rather tough play, ALTHENTIC F.C's Douglas Tande got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgardo Silva made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Odeen came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ALTHENTIC F.C's Mila Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Pacheco in the 58th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rio Arrascaeta. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Odeen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conny Tingberg hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. New England Minas made a substitution. Tio Lio replaced Edgardo Silva. In the 71st minute, Conny Tingberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mila Gröhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, ALTHENTIC F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Tio Lio came free, but Mila Gröhe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ove Odeen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jeremy Nicholas came out and tried to block the shot, but Ove Odeen slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Xavier in the 89th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremy Nicholas came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by ALTHENTIC F.C's Ove Odeen. But to his dismay, Ove Odeen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Marquinhos Toscano hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The ALTHENTIC F.C players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented New England Minas from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
