Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) New England Minas's Edgardo Silva started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Silva in the 5th minute of play forced Frenchville Sports Club's goalkeeper Edvaldo Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute New England Minas were awarded a corner. Jörgen Frohm went to the cornerflag to take it. Edgardo Silva made a great header on New England Minas's corner, it was just that Frenchville Sports Club's Edvaldo Gaspar managed to reach the ball for a save. Frenchville Sports Club's Edvaldo Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glen Conklin in the 9th minute of play. Roman Major hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Best Didlock shot a long shot in the 13th minute and a light blocked Jeremy Nicholas hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-1. When New England Minas's Tony Pacheco in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Frenchville Sports Club's goalie prevented a goal. 21 minutes into the match, Frenchville Sports Club's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Silva came free, but Edvaldo Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edvaldo Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 36th minute of the match New England Minas got a corner. Frenchville Sports Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jörgen Frohm ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on New England Minas's corner Ye Gang Cheng fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edvaldo Gaspar quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jörgen Frohm hit a great ball. A collision led to Frenchville Sports Club getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Frenchville Sports Club's Edvaldo Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Pacheco in the 46th minute of play. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pasha Datsiuk in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pasha Datsiuk was the one to do the kick off. Tony Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pasha Datsiuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Frenchville Sports Club's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Pacheco came free, but Edvaldo Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute of the match New England Minas got a corner. A nice corner shot did that Jörgen Frohm got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edvaldo Gaspar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 62nd minute Berke Rush shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as New England Minas's Edgardo Silva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edvaldo Gaspar. That made the score 1-2 after 65 minutes of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tio Lio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edvaldo Gaspar. That made the score 1-3 in the 79 minute of play. Frenchville Sports Club's Edvaldo Gaspar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Frenchville Sports Club from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute of the match, Tio Lio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edvaldo Gaspar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Emmitt Benson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremy Nicholas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Berke Rush's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 91stth minute of the game Tio Lio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frenchville Sports Club's Edvaldo Gaspar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Lalo Rosas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New England Minas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frenchville Sports Club the free kick. The referee gave Frenchville Sports Club a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Best Didlock, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas. 2-3. The Frenchville Sports Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching New England Minas's performance. The match ended with a win for New England Minas.
