A hard and well directed shot from Breen John led 5 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. BRASIL.Sp's Zézinho Dracena became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. A collision led to BRASIL.Sp getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Doriva Jacinto hit a great ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Eustacio Hotz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustacio Hotz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, BRASIL.Sp's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Hotz came free, but Zézinho Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Hotz in the 18th minute of play forced BRASIL.Sp's goalkeeper Zézinho Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Wiliam Goiano had to leave the field with a concussion. BRASIL.Sp's Akiba Teben was substituted for Wiliam Goiano. Eustacio Hotz took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zézinho Dracena. Zézinho Dracena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Luiz Heidemann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doriva Jacinto in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute BRASIL.Sp were awarded a corner. Bono Vox went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Caetano da Silva got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luiz Heidemann quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Caetano da Silva took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Luiz Heidemann to make any attempt to save it. 36 minutes into the match, Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Heidemann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcinho Félix. 37 minutes into the game, Neil Peart threw the ball into play from the sideline. BRASIL.Sp's Laerte de Lima quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 39thth minute of the game Eustacio Hotz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BRASIL.Sp's Zézinho Dracena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of BRASIL.Sp booed when Heidemann FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neil Peart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neil Peart hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doriva Jacinto made a kick off. Akiba Teben made in the 53rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Doriva Jacinto. In the 55th minute, Mauro Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute Nestor Gonzáles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Heidemann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 66th minute of the game was made by Akiba Teben with Bono Vox as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a little luck, BRASIL.Sp's Zézinho Dracena got control of the ball when Abdulhamid Han tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abdulhamid Han might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zézinho Dracena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdulhamid Han ran back to his position shaking his head. Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's Luiz Heidemann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laerte de Lima in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to BRASIL.Sp getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Marcinho Félix hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Akiba Teben in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's Abdulhamid Han. Akiba Teben got a throw-in 93 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Nestor Gonzáles. Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's Manoel Garrincha got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
