Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Don Cabezon made the kick off and thus started the match. 2 minutes into the game, Freddy Sazon threw the ball into play from the sideline. NFH Family United's Azli Abisheganaden quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 5 minutes AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wong Sophie who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Wong Sophie almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Dacian Nițescu did a great save. Alexander Sum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Don Cabezon in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Don Cabezon notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of NFH Family United's Alexander Sum. Alexander Sum was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute, Zack Tuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in NFH Family United's zone, Freddy Sazon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Sum came out of the goal and Freddy Sazon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gorri Sañudo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 23 played minutes NFH Family United got a freekick which was hit by Jithu Rajah. Alexander Sum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Don Cabezon in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Dacian Nițescu got control of the ball when Ang Chew tried to sneak it across the goal line. Don Cabezon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexander Sum read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Dacian Nițescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Chian in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mark Chian to make the kick off. Dacian Nițescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jithu Rajah in the 53rd minute of the match. Alexander Sum made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Don Cabezon sent off a good shot on target. Don Cabezons short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Alexander Sum to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ang Chew in the 65th minute of play forced AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goalkeeper Dacian Nițescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dacian Nițescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Chian, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Dacian Nițescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Chian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jajat Mustari in the 88th minute. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after NFH Family United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jajat Mustari took the corner. Muhammad Chong thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Alexander Sum, a very annoying self made goal in the 95th minute which led to 0-2. When the match was over AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than NFH Family United throughout the match.
