A collision led to Sielce Warszawa getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Aleks Borsuk hit a great ball. If Guido Vissenaeken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edin Džeko made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 24thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Vítor Baia would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Sielce Warszawa's André Onana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Vissenaeken in the 27th minute of play. Guido Vissenaeken blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Onana having to make a save. André Onana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Vissenaeken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brugge United's Vítor Baia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Brugge United from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute, Boleslaw Domarecki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnauld Van Impe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of André Onana when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 83 minutes into the game, Boleslaw Domarecki threw the ball into play from the sideline.
