Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Nilson Paraibano managed to work through Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Alcântara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rafinha Sergipano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, one of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rondinone F.C - FDFDF. Freddy Basajaun might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charles Sarmento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Freddy Basajaun ran back to his position shaking his head. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charles Sarmento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vladimir Albuquerque scored 8-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charles Sarmento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Sandro Aguiar got a free kick in the 98th minute. When the referee ended the match the Joinville S.German-FSCMZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
