After a rather tough play, MORPH's Emiliano Berdaitz got a free kick in the 8th minute. The supporters of MORPH booed when La Candela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lu Yang Xing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramiro Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffe Lenaerts in the 13th minute of play. Melquiades Mambru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Lluterio in the 16th minute of play. In the 29th minute Silverio Lluterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Mambru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silverio Lluterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Melquiades Mambru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Emiliano Berdaitz came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the MORPH fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Berdaitz couldn't finish the play. After 41 minutes of play, La Candela FC's Silverio Lluterio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melquiades Mambru was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silverio Lluterio to make the kick off. The referee ignored MORPH's protests and gave Anastasio Lluques a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 played minutes MORPH got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Lluques. La Candela FC's Damian Servando was substituted for Silverio Lluterio. MORPH made a substitution. Carel Rokeloos replaced Steffe Lenaerts.
