Ken Urdal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benji Corby in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Dorking United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rey Normando came free, but Isaac Prutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Rey Normando got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Isaac Prutton quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Ken Urdal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ken Urdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benji Corby, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Lisandro Haitz came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the CORNUDOS Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Haitz couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Lisandro Haitz put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Isaac Prutton. Sean Hollingsworth scored 1-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ken Urdal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benji Corby stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 62 played minutes, Dorking United FC's Karl Fletcher shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ken Urdal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dorking United FC reached it. In the 63rd minute Brett Dingle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ken Urdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jools Stamp in the 85th minute of play forced CORNUDOS Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Ken Urdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Dorking United FC booed when CORNUDOS Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nunez Gelacio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
