Achtung Babies's Eurico Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kubilay İmge in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor Mainer in the 9th minute of play forced Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Cristian Vladimirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Damario in the 10th minute of play forced Achtung Babies's goalkeeper Eurico Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Héctor Mainer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristian Vladimirescu. Riesgo Cero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Héctor Mainer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Eurico Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Damario in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kubilay İmge in the 17th minute of play forced Achtung Babies's goalkeeper Eurico Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Achtung Babies's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when 庄潮宽 scored to the left of an out of position Eurico Velloso, making the score, 1-1. The supporters of Achtung Babies booed when Riesgo Cero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Faron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Vladimirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Héctor Mainer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kubilay İmge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Eurico Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kubilay İmge in the 29th minute of play forced Achtung Babies's goalkeeper Eurico Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Héctor Mainer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Héctor Mainer in the 31st minute of play. Torsten Norberg hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Cristian Vladimirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor Mainer, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th match minute, Riesgo Cero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Faron to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Sosa kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After 52 played minutes Achtung Babies got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Sayveon. Cristian Vladimirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor Mainer, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Héctor Mainer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Achtung Babies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Héctor Mainer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Vladimirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Héctor Mainer in the 61st minute of the match. When Héctor Mainer came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Achtung Babies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Héctor Mainer couldn't finish the play. Achtung Babies's Nicolas De Custer was substituted for Héctor Mainer. Edgardo Faron charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgardo Faron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Riesgo Cero getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Edgardo Faron hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the game, Santo Damario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Eurico Velloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Jan Falkiewicz fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Achtung Babies's protests and gave Jan Falkiewicz a yellow card for diving instead. Cristian Vladimirescu was a little too slow when Nicolas De Custer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 2-4. Eurico Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kubilay İmge in the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Achtung Babies's Nicolas De Custer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristian Vladimirescu. That made the score 2-5 after 96 minutes of play. The Riesgo Cero fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Achtung Babies were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
