Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Inácio Freitas kicked off to start the match. The supporters of MarquinhosEC booed when Facopo FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Kürşat Muhlis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteve Quinto charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteve Quinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. MarquinhosEC's Zézinho Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hori Galli in the 25th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aloísio Munhoz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Aloísio Munhoz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zézinho Simões. That made the score 0-1 in the 53 minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's goal looked a bit too open when Zhivko Húntev came free, but Zézinho Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldinho Moreno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zézinho Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hori Galli in the 84th minute of the match. Zézinho Simões was a little too slow when Caetano Domingues got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-2. After 93 played minutes Facopo FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Requena. The Facopo FBPA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Facopo FBPA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
