When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Aureliano Karlo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Luis Galarza. Paul Vase hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Chumacero came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 minutes AFC FUSION's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alejandro Chumacero who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Alejandro Chumacero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roberto Eztebe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 22 played minutes Alejandro Chumacero shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe to catch but Alejandro Chumacero was lucky. It became 1-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. When Kalatakaya F.C.'s Recep Guftar in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AFC FUSION's goalie prevented a goal. After 28 minutes AFC FUSION's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alejandro Chumacero who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Alejandro Chumacero almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe did a great save. Luis Galarza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Aureliano Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luis Galarza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 38th minute of the match. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save AFC FUSION from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute Recep Guftar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes Kalatakaya F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Helmut Gutiérrez.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aureliano Karlo to strike the kick off in the second half. Kalatakaya F.C.'s Luis Galarza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Kalatakaya F.C. from getting a goal against them. Roberto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tonete Abaurre, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Recep Guftar in the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoff Stocks in the 78th minute of play forced Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Luis Galarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tonete Abaurre in the 81st minute of play. Guido Txindoki struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Luis Galarza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC FUSION. 86 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Luis Galarza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guido Txindoki. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when Kalatakaya F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salomón Enríquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guido Txindoki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Luis Galarza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Lluterio in the 91st minute of play. Luis Galarza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoff Stocks in the 93rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Christoff Stocks had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luis Galarza. Kalatakaya F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christoff Stocks was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
