A collision led to Minerul Baita -MM- getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Allan Shearer hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederik Dhondt in the 53rd minute of play forced Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Luis Galarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Nistor Maghiar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jair Reinoso. Jair Reinoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Nistor Maghiar made a huge save. The Minerul Baita -MM- supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kalatakaya F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Kalatakaya F.C..
