Don Hoberg started the match with the kick off. Ulf Laagerup hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Samuel Grabow hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Skellerup FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Grabow came free, but Mattæus Bøtner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thorfinn Ranhauge hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Mattæus Bøtner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Hoberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the game, Kent Helsgaard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skellerup FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hoberg United the free kick. A collision led to Skellerup FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Kent Helsgaard hit a great ball. Mattæus Bøtner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Grabow, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Mattæus Bøtner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Hoberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Skellerup FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulf Laagerup was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karljohan Lenter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Don Schmeichel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 50th match minute, Skellerup FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Degn to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on Hoberg United's corner Samuel Grabow fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mattæus Bøtner quite easily take care of the ball. In the 58th minute, Reinhardt Bramstrup got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Skellerup FC's goal looked a bit too open when Don Hoberg came free, but Mattæus Bøtner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Mattæus Bøtner managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Hoberg United's Don Hoberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Samuel Grabow came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Hoberg United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Grabow couldn't finish the play. In the 96thth minute of the game Samuel Grabow who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skellerup FC's Mattæus Bøtner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
