The Real Södertälje fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carsten Eckstein should have stopped the shot. Carsten Eckstein made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urban Wennerquist in the 21st minute. If Urban Wennerquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Real Södertälje booed when Joga Hem FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bennvar Nickler to strike the kick off in the second half.
