With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dave Di Filippo in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bogdan Stelea saved Rex Scania MFF from getting behind. In the 5th minute of the match Hermanö Oilers got a corner. Rex Scania MFF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bror Lilja ran over to the corner to take the kick. Robin Hood made a great header on Hermanö Oilers's corner, it was just that Rex Scania MFF's Bogdan Stelea managed to reach the ball for a save. 8 minutes into the match, Hermanö Oilers's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Abrahamsson came free, but Oskar Haeger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Rex Scania MFF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hermanö Oilers:s goal. Bogdan Stelea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Di Filippo in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Östen Lund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Haeger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Harel Minsky notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rex Scania MFF's Bogdan Stelea. Bogdan Stelea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pontus Nordin hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Dave Di Filippo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rex Scania MFF's Bogdan Stelea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute Hermanö Oilers were awarded a corner. Bror Lilja went to the cornerflag to take it. Harel Minsky made a great header on Hermanö Oilers's corner, it was just that Rex Scania MFF's Bogdan Stelea managed to reach the ball for a save. Bogdan Stelea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horea Popârcea, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 38 minutes into the match, Hermanö Oilers's Dave Di Filippo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bogdan Stelea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dave Di Filippo scored 0-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bogdan Stelea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 41 minutes, Dave Di Filippo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hermanö Oilers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dave Di Filippo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Rex Scania MFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pontus Nordin to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dave Di Filippo was the one to do the kick off. Bogdan Stelea came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Hermanö Oilers's Dave Di Filippo. But to his dismay, Dave Di Filippo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 56th minute, Dave Di Filippo made a precise shot to the right of Bogdan Stelea. Rex Scania MFF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. 59 minutes into the match, Dave Di Filippo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bogdan Stelea, 0-7. Dave Di Filippo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Bogdan Stelea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bogdan Stelea made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Dave Di Filippo sent off a good shot on target. Dave Di Filippo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bogdan Stelea having to make a save. In the 68th minute, Harry Forsman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogdan Stelea was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Dave Di Filippo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dave Di Filippo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Dave Di Filippo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bogdan Stelea having to make a save. In the 74th minute Dave Di Filippo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Stelea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Rex Scania MFF's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Di Filippo came free, but Bogdan Stelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Di Filippo in the 77th minute of play forced Rex Scania MFF's goalkeeper Bogdan Stelea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Dave Di Filippo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hermanö Oilers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. In the 80th minute, Harel Minsky got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A throw-in in the 86th minute of the game was made by Pontus Nordin with Viggo Hedkvist as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 89th play minutes Ingemar Stålman shot 0-10, a short shot which went by Bogdan Stelea and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 94thth minute of the game Ingemar Stålman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rex Scania MFF's Bogdan Stelea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Rex Scania MFF defense, Ingemar Stålman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bogdan Stelea. The Rex Scania MFF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bogdan Stelea should have stopped the shot. Hermanö Oilers played a much better game than Rex Scania MFF and deserved their victory. The Rex Scania MFF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
