Per-Oskar Hedberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Bergsten in the 12th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Onurhan Çinuçin in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eero Viks prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes into the match, Överås IK's goal looked a bit too open when Onurhan Çinuçin came free, but Eero Viks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Överås IK:s Eero Viks showed great skill when he stopped Verner Wahlnäs:s penalty. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Eero Viks was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Onurhan Çinuçin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 55 minute of play. Överås IK were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Peace Home Street Boys's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcus Bergsten took the corner. The corner led Överås IK's Marcus Bergsten to fire away a dangerous shot which Per-Oskar Hedberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Peace Home Street Boys's Valdemar Borre was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eero Viks in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Eero Viks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Strömqvist in the 73rd minute of play.
