The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mikael Liberatore scored 0-4 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Linus Svanström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute, Mikael Liberatore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wargön fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Linus Svanström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mikael Liberatore's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. If Mikael Liberatore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute Mikael Liberatore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Linus Svanström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wargön's Bayan Baye was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Linus Svanström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 36th minute, Mikael Liberatore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute, Mikael Liberatore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Linus Svanström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Linus Svanström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Liberatore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wargön's attentive David Buhăescu managed to snatch the ball when Ciro Innocenzio made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. 42 minutes into the match, Mikael Liberatore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Linus Svanström. Average Joes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikael Liberatore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Average Joes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wargön:s goal. In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Wargön. Artur Buba stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Linus Svanström. 0-8.

51 minutes into the match, Average Joes's goalkeeper Linus Svanström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikael Liberatore. If Mikael Liberatore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Wargön fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Wargön's Mikael Liberatore looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sören Tunberg came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Average Joes's Pål Askestät. But to his dismay, Pål Askestät quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-10. After 75 played minutes Average Joes got a freekick which was hit by Pål Askestät. Linus Svanström was a little too slow when Nils-Arne Nilsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 1-11. 79 minutes into the match, Ivar Siöberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Linus Svanström, 1-12. When Zdzislaw Liermann fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wargön's protests and gave Zdzislaw Liermann a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Wargön's Zdzislaw Liermann got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Linus Svanström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Arne Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Average Joes's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Stephansson came free, but Linus Svanström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Jo Blanchaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Tunberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wargön played a much better game than Average Joes and deserved their victory. The Average Joes players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
