In the 14th minute Loco Durazno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eero Viks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eero Viks narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burç Tokhan in the 84th minute of play forced Överås IK's goalkeeper Eero Viks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Överås IK defense, Burç Tokhan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eero Viks. The Överås IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eero Viks should have stopped the shot. 91 minutes into the game, Cosme Larpe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Eero Viks was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Golden Lions FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
