Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Schmeissen FC's Eddie Tinglöf started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Kevin Keegan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jarl Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Keegan, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Schmeissen FC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Skövde AIK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jens Apelkvist took the corner. 18 minutes into the match, Calle Målare notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström. Karl-Erik Norström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jarl Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Keegan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Åke Gustavsson kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Målare in the 25th minute of play. Jarl Gunnarsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kevin Keegan's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute Kevin Keegan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarl Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Skövde AIK were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Schmeissen FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Chen Ao Fan took the corner. The corner ended in Chen Ao Fan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Schmeissen FC's Jarl Gunnarsson did a great save. Calle Målare took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Erik Norström. Karl-Erik Norström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kevin Keegan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Filip Brolin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens Apelkvist, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jarl Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chen Ao Fan in the 55th minute of the match. Kevin Keegan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jarl Gunnarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lu Rong Yi made in the 65th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Knut Rudberg. 71 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Tinglöf came free, but Karl-Erik Norström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Skövde AIK from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Norström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Skövde AIK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jens Apelkvist was slow to take the kick. During this time Schmeissen FC's players had a chance to rest. The throw-in from Lu Rong Yi in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Schmeissen FC's Wu Kun Ling. After some careless play in the Schmeissen FC defense, Kevin Keegan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarl Gunnarsson. The Schmeissen FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarl Gunnarsson should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Skövde AIK's Filip Brolin got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute Schmeissen FC were awarded a corner. Axel Sandberg went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Axel Sandberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström did a great save. Schmeissen FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
