Norrlands Athen's Manfred Fribäck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Norrlands Athen from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Måns Sandberg in the 12th minute of play forced Svartvallstjärnens IF's goalkeeper Linus Ahlquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Juan Lebron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Linus Ahlquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kieth Isebergh hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Svartvallstjärnens IF's goalkeeper Linus Ahlquist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filcho Slivkov kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Göran Cane struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Manfred Fribäck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Svartvallstjärnens IF. Linus Ahlquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Lebron in the 27th minute of the match. Urbano Fidencio made in the 30th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Qian Zhen Sheng. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Lebron in the 32nd minute of play forced Svartvallstjärnens IF's goalkeeper Linus Ahlquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Svartvallstjärnens IF's Göran Cane sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manfred Fribäck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st minute of the match Svartvallstjärnens IF got a corner. Norrlands Athen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Björn Andberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Karl-Åke Vestlund almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Norrlands Athen's Manfred Fribäck did a great save. Manfred Fribäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Cane in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After 52 minutes of play, Svartvallstjärnens IF's Göran Cane made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manfred Fribäck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Göran Cane scored 4-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manfred Fribäck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 66 minutes in the game Karl-Åke Vestlund did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Elliott Malmberg. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kevin Karlberg in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manfred Fribäck saved Norrlands Athen from getting behind. Linus Ahlquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Hermansson in the 70th minute of the match. Norrlands Athen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Filcho Slivkov in the 72nd minute. Norrlands Athen's Mathias Alrot was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Linus Ahlquist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Norrlands Athen's Manfred Fribäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Karlberg in the 77th minute of play. Linus Ahlquist made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Gilbert Hermansson sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the match, Gilbert Hermansson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Linus Ahlquist, 4-2. A collision led to Norrlands Athen getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Jacinto da Silveira hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Svartvallstjärnens IF's Kevin Karlberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manfred Fribäck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Svartvallstjärnens IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gilbert Hermansson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Svartvallstjärnens IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Norrlands Athen had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
