An unexpectedly hard shot by Chen Ao Fan in the 7th minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Wilhelm Galle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Norström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Käller. Sebastian Käller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Erik Norström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Wilhelm Galle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Keegan, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Wilhelm Galle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Hamrin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Käller in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Erik Norström saved Skövde AIK from getting behind. In the 21st minute, Sebastian Käller made a precise shot to the right of Karl-Erik Norström. Skövde AIK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Chen Ao Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilhelm Galle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chen Ao Fan in the 26th minute of play. Sebastian Käller might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Erik Norström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Käller ran back to his position shaking his head. Karl-Erik Norström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Käller, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Sebastian Käller took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Karl-Erik Norström to make any attempt to save it. If Sebastian Käller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karl-Erik Norström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Käller in the 34th minute. Sebastian Källers short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Karl-Erik Norström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 38th minute Kind of Blue were awarded a corner. Joacim Hansson went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Käller got free with Karl-Erik Norström in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Kind of Blue's attentive Epifanio Aznar managed to snatch the ball when Lu Rong Yi made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. Kurt Hamrin hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Karl-Erik Norström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Käller in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute of the match Kind of Blue got a corner. Skövde AIK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joacim Hansson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Kind of Blue's Zhuo Ke Le getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Lu Rong Yi hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes Skövde AIK got a freekick which was hit by Lu Rong Yi. A collision led to Skövde AIK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Lu Rong Yi hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute Sebastian Käller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Norström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilhelm Galle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Keegan in the 64th minute of the match. Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chen Ao Fan in the 74th minute of play. Karl-Erik Norström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Käller in the 75th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Käller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Erik Norström was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Sebastian Käller scored 4-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl-Erik Norström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Käller in the 86th minute of play.
