The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Norrlands Athen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kind of Blue:s goal. The referee gave Kind of Blue a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sebastian Käller, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Norrlands Athen's Manfred Fribäck. 0-1. Sebastian Käller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Norrlands Athen's Manfred Fribäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Käller in the 7th minute of play. Wilhelm Galle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Måns Sandberg in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Sebastian Käller made a precise shot to the right of Manfred Fribäck. Norrlands Athen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Kind of Blue's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joacim Hansson in the 18th minute. The corner led Kind of Blue's Joacim Hansson to fire away a dangerous shot which Manfred Fribäck despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Filcho Slivkov kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Sebastian Käller took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manfred Fribäck. Manfred Fribäck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The throw-in from Jacinto da Silveira in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kind of Blue's Tonhão Rodrigues. Sebastian Käller might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manfred Fribäck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Käller ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Käller in the 33rd minute of play forced Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Manfred Fribäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Norrlands Athen's Wilhelm Galle threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Måns Sandberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Käller in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manfred Fribäck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilhelm Galle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Måns Sandberg in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute of the match Norrlands Athen got a corner. Kind of Blue's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filcho Slivkov ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 45th match minute, Norrlands Athen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Sebastian Käller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manfred Fribäck was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After the first half Kind of Blue were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Måns Sandberg made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Käller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manfred Fribäck was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After 55 minutes, Sebastian Käller made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Norrlands Athen's Manfred Fribäck tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Sebastian Käller put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Manfred Fribäck. The crowd rose to their feet as Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Manfred Fribäck. That made the score 0-7 after 64 minutes of play. Norrlands Athen made a substitution. Gilbert Hermansson replaced Måns Sandberg. Norrlands Athen's Arvin Låsberg was substituted for Tord Lundin. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Sebastian Käller put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Manfred Fribäck. In the 77thth minute of the game Sebastian Käller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Norrlands Athen's Manfred Fribäck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Norrlands Athen's Manfred Fribäck got control of the ball when Sebastian Käller tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute Kind of Blue were awarded a corner. Joacim Hansson went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 85th minute, Sebastian Käller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kind of Blue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Käller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manfred Fribäck was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Manfred Fribäck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Käller's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. After 95 minutes Norrlands Athen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joacim Hansson who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Joacim Hansson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Norrlands Athen's Manfred Fribäck did a great save. The Norrlands Athen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kind of Blue were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
