Svartvallstjärnens IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Björn Andberg in the 5th minute. The corner ended in Björn Andberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Trojanskahästen's Kjell Sandström did a great save. Edward Jönsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristoffer Forsberg in the 13th minute of the match. Edward Jönsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristoffer Forsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Göran Cane got free with Kjell Sandström in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Göran Cane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Benigno Urruchua's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edward Jönsson was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Benigno Urruchua took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edward Jönsson. Edward Jönsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 35 played minutes Trojanskahästen got a freekick which was hit by Roger Josefsson. Thanks to some nice moves Göran Cane could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Kjell Sandström however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Trojanskahästen's Inocencio Oidor got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benigno Urruchua to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Svartvallstjärnens IF's Karl-Åke Vestlund got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Svartvallstjärnens IF made a substitution. Tore Svartström replaced Thiago Castelao. In the 91st minute, Göran Cane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Trojanskahästen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Trojanskahästen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
